Woodville

Driving through Morpeth and Largs towards Paterson, a short detour will take you through the charming location of Woodville, 15 minutes drive from the centre of Maitland. Woodville is a delightfully quaint  village offering bed and breakfast accommodation.

All Saints, located in the centre of Woodville, is a beautifully restored stone church built from rubble stone in 1863-64, a hugely popular location for weddings and also serves as a function centre.

History

Woodville is one of the key agricultural areas within Maitland, Hunter Valley and is home to a multitude of historical gems, nestled among its expanse of farmlands. The Woodville School of Arts dates to 1877 and the Gothic Revival, All Saints Church features stunning arched and leadlight windows following its restoration work in 1922.
